Legal aid in domestic violence issues on gender basis and compensation of survivors of sexual violence during the war times
CLA aiming to provide access to justice to vulnerable groups will provide free legal aid for domestic violence victims as well as will initiate proceedings and realize compensation for the survivors of sexual violence during war time in Kosovo.
Free legal aid from the CLA for these categories will include, but will not be limited to:
- Providing legal advice regarding legal rights of domestic violence victims;
- Representing domestic violence victims through a defense lawyer assigned by KBA;
- Legal advice and representation of victims of crimes in competent bodies, including the compilation of legal remedies against decisions for protection order or emergency protection order;
- Providing legal aid related to the rights and compensation of sexual violence survivors during war time.
